The Southern Route Innit

There is no set route for the Mongol Rally, the rules merely state that the teams have to get from a to b. Teams tend to split into three camps taking the Northern Route through Russia, the Central Route through Kazakhstan, or our prefered choice, and the most adventurous, the Southern Route.


The Southern Route will potentially take us through 16 countries - France, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan, Russian, Mongolia.
